ONCOLOGY
Dealing and treating cancer with a pet can be a trying time for your family. We have diagnostic and surgical excision capabilities. We also can help guide you through choosing and have the capabilities to administer chemo. We are also here to help you decide if hospice is the right answer for your pet and your family and to provide you with the knowledge and compassion to get through such a trying time.
RADIOLOGY
We offer digital x-rays to evaluate all parts of the body including abdomen, heart, pelvis and extremities. We also offer ultrasounds by a doctor that specializes in performing and interpreting abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds.
ANIMAL HUSBANDRY
We offer basic animal husbandry including toe nail trims, anal gland expressions and bathing. We also offer boarding for cats and dogs.
PREVENTATIVE CARE
Wellness exams, vaccines bloodwork, heartworm and flea prevention are critical to your pet's quality of life.
ROUTINE SURGERY
Spays, neuters, declaws and dental cleanings and tooth extractions are part of our routine surgery skills

OUR CLINIC
North Roswell Veterinary Clinic is a AAHA certified hospital for over 35 years serving cats and dogs in the Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, and South Forsyth area.
Our facility provides the most up to date care for your pet including pet wellness, medical care for non-emergency and emergency problems, routine and comprehensive surgeries, dentals, and behavioral counseling. In addition, North Roswell Veterinary Clinic has a boarding facility to care for your pets when you are unable to do so. We have the ability to help your pet in most any of his or her medical needs.
We pride ourselves in offering a comfortable, family atmosphere for both you and your loved one. This in part is made possible by our team of veterinarians Dr. David Shepherd and Dr. Jannice Laketa. Both are graduates of Auburn University. In addition, they routinely participate in continuing education so that we may provide the most up to date and thorough care for your pet. Dr. Shepherd is certified for the use of stem cells for the treatment of joint disease. He is excited to use this new and upcoming medicine for the betterment of your pet. Dr. Shepherd is experienced in repairing ACL (cruciate ligament) tears. Knee repairs and orthopedic surgeries are a special interest of his. Dr. Laketa we affectionately call our "cat whisperer." She enjoys working with both dogs and cats but has not met a cat yet that she could not handle. She has a particular interest in feline medicine and has that special touch some cats need. Dr. Laketa devotes her time to learning all about the improvements in veterinary pain management.
We have a licensed veterinary nurse on staff to provide expert care for your pet along with assisting you, as the client, manage your pets care at home. Our nurse along with the rest of our staff is dedicated to the highest quality standard of care and educating themselves on all of the advancements of veterinary medicine so that they can bring the most up to date care to your pet.
